Valentine Card
The card
this week, you may find a little more challenging but have a go
anyway. Just remember that mistakes often lead to new ideas and
never throw anything away as tomorrow you may look at it and see
other possibilities for another card. (Even something the baby
has bent can be rescued by screwing up the whole image and then
ironing it and cutting it all into pieces to make a mosaic.)
If you need any help with this or other projects please come and
see us and we will do our best to assist you.
You will need:-
|
- Apply the sticker corners to the front of the card.
- Join them with the straight strips.
- Stamp the checkered Hearts image twice with the red ink on the white card.
- Tear around the first image.
- Stick this torn image onto the centre of the gold card and then stick this onto the red card with 2mm sticky foam pads, slightly high so as to leave room for your tag.
- Punch the two daisies out of the scrap of gold card.
- With the second image, cut out the heart and solid box plus the small heart in the bottom left ready to decoupage the image.
- Make a small hole with a darning needle or similar in the centre of the daisy to push the brad through and attach the punched daisy to the daisy at the top of the second image.
- Then using 1mm sticky foam pads, layer up the cut out images lining them up with the first stamped image on the torn card, to make a decoupage effect.
- Apply the tag shape sticker to the small piece of gold card and cut around it.
- Apply the “Happy Valentine” sticker to the centre of the tag.
- Make a hole in the tag and thread some ribbons or wool through and then attach the tag to the card with 2mm sticky foam pads underneath the gold card.
