Teddy Celebrations

Here’s a lovely card for the man in your life, not too difficult to make but nevertheless a stunning effect I’m sure you will agree.

You will need the following:- DL grey plaid card Piece of white card Silver card 8 x 14cm + small piece for hearts Black card 7 x 13cm + small piece for hearts A piece of white card Hamish Teddy Stamp (Funstamps FM48) Black pigment ink Clear embossing powder 1mm double sided sticky pads Piece of green ribbon Collall glue Glue dot Heart Punch Green crystal lacquer

1. On the white card stamp and emboss the teddy twice. Colour his nose brown and cut out the head with waistcoat, feet, bottle and hand plus glass and hand from the second.

2. Decoupage the cut out pieces on top of the first image with sticky pads.

3. Layer up the black card onto the silver card with glue, apply your greeting to the top and place teddy underneath with sticky pads. Stick this piece directly to the card with glue.

4. Punch out three hearts from both the black and silver card. Layer these up with pads and the black behind the silver slightly to the right to create a shadow effect.

5. Attach to the card as shown with 1mm pads.

6. Tie a knot in the ribbon and attach to the top left-hand side of the topper with a glue dot.

7. Finally colour the waistcoat and bow tie with the crystal lacquer. Always do this last as it needs time to dry before handling.

I’m sure you will agree that this makes a very pretty card for some lucky man.
