Hexagonal Santa And Rudolf
|
You will need:-
|
-
Measure and mark 4cm from each corner along all four sides (8 in all).
-
Join these dots by drawing a line across each corner and cut away. You should now have your hexagonal card. Gently rub away any remaining pencil marks.
-
Decorate the edges with the peel off border.
-
Emboss the Santa and reindeer heads plus two mittens on the white card.
-
Colour and then carefully cut out. (When cutting out the images leave a very small white border otherwise the embossing may crack away).
-
Now to make the Santa. Cut a small straight piece to make the belt, and attach approximately two thirds down the round body with double sided tape.
-
Make a buckle with the two plain corners.
-
Punch two large circles and one small circle from the remaining black card.
-
Cut a straight line off the bottom of the two large circles and a small V shape out of the smaller circle.
-
Attach the body with double sided tape to the bottom slightly right of the card. Make sure you leave enough room for the heads and feet.
-
Attach the two large circles to the bottom of the body to make the feet, flat side down.
-
Attach as shown the heads, mittens and hoof to the body with 1mm and 2mm pads.
-
Carefully draw a shine mark on shoes and reindeer hoof as shown.
-
Stick on your greeting and you’re done!
