Girl On The Beach
|
You will need the following:-
|
-
Cut the “sky” paper 12cm square, round the corners and stick onto the front of the card with glue. (This glue gives a little slippage to get the piece on straight. If any gets on the front of the actual card it will rub off with your finger).
-
Cut a piece of the “sand” paper to fit about one third up from the bottom and round the lower two corners. Stick onto the bottom of the “sky” paper to create the sand effect.
-
With the “water” effect paper, keep one straight edge for the horizon line and tear the other long edge randomly to make the wiggly water’s edge. Make sure that the two short sides are straight and match your sky piece in width. Stick this piece over the upper edge of the sand paper, (see picture).
-
Stamp the girl image onto some white card with black ink and emboss.
-
I used Twinkling H2O’s for the dress, bows, sandals and the bucket and spade as I just love the metallic look of them. The body and hair were coloured with water paints.
-
Cut out the figure and attach to the front of the card with double sided sticky pads.
-
Finally stamp or use a sticker to put the sun in the top right hand side of the sky.
-
Add a greeting of your choice and hey presto, you’re done!
