Fastest Card In The West

Sometimes, even though we plan ahead carefully making our relatives and friends cards month by month (well some of us do), we occasionally find that we need a card unexpectedly. This elegant card is very simple and quick to make for anyone caught out at the last minute with a forgotten Birthday, Anniversary, Thank You, or in fact, any occasion. It’s made using the beautiful Dufex Foil Stickers and Greetings with the minimum of effort and expense. It’s quite a good idea to make a few cards to have “in stock” as you can personalize them by adding your greeting later.

 

You will need the following: - An A6 card A Dufex sticker and Greeting Mulberry paper to match or tone Some gold or silver card to with your sticker Collall Glue Double sided sticky pads

1. Cut and fray some mulberry paper just slightly larger than your sticker (Top Tip – to fray the paper wet with a paintbrush where you want it to tear and gently pull away the excess)

2. Cut the gold or silver card slightly bigger than the mulberry paper and attach to your card with d/s pads as shown.

3. Stick the mulberry paper onto the gold/silver card with glue

4. Attach the sticker to the centre of this piece and attach to the main card with d/s pads as shown.

5. Attach the greeting above the main piece.

Hey presto you’re done. You can of course, vary this card by starting with a square card and using one of the keepsake boards adding some embossing down one side and maybe a even a bow.
