Easter Card
|
You will need: -
|
-
Using the A5 piece of card and the folding board, place the long side of the card against the butt bar and score line 2.
-
Turn the card 180 degrees and score line 2 again.
-
Then, with the short side of the A5 card against the butt bar score line 2 and 5.
-
Now you should have a cross shape marked on your card. Look at the cross the right way up and cut away the top left and top right hand squares.
-
Cut beneath the horizontal bar of the cross to the score line on each side and fold back to allow the card to stand up.
-
Next decorate your cross shape with the straight peel-offs.
-
Stamp the rose leaf stamp with green ink onto green card, and punch out. (If you don’t have a punch you can cut them out)
-
Curl the leaves slightly by rolling them around a paintbrush handle.
-
Stick the butterfly sticker onto the coloured vellum and cut out.
-
Fold the wings up from the body of the butterfly and then curl them around the paintbrush handle.
-
Place a small piece of double sided tape to the butterfly body and a sticky foam pad under each wing.
-
Place the decoration onto the cross until you have an arrangement that you like.
-
Using silicone glue attach the leaves and flowers and to the card, allowing the leaves to remain slightly curved.
-
Attach the butterfly to the cross.
-
Lastly add the Happy Easter greeting.
This card will fit happily into a C5 envelope.
