Decoupage Clown 2
Decoupage is very popular at the moment. It’s not as complicated as it looks as each piece is numbered on the sheets which I use, and it’s just a matter of cutting out all the pieces and sticking them over the first image numerically. Here’s a little clown card, cute enough to brighten anyone’s day!

You will need:-
|
- Fold the blue card in half to make an A5 card.
- Stick the peel-off border around the edge of the card to form a frame.
- Cut out your image and if using silicone glue, curl the pieces by rubbing them over a small paintbrush handle before fixing. This gives the finished piece “body” and the desired 3-D effect.
- If using silicone glue, I find it easier to squeeze small pea-size blobs and transfer them to the back of the piece with a cocktail stick. Build up the image, piece by piece, by carefully placing each piece numerically. Line it up with the image and press gently creating a raised layered effect. If preferred, you can just stick them with the foam pads.
- Cut a shape from the corrugated
card to suit your particular project and glue to the base
card.
When dry, the silicone will take about 20 minutes; mount the clown onto the corrugated card.
Our decoupage sheets have a gloss finish but if yours don’t you may like to lacquer them. - Finish by making a greeting with the peel-off letters.
