Daisy Sticker Card

This week we have a simple idea for the less adventurous card maker. There is no stamping and it is just made with stickers, so any of you who have not caught the card-making bug yet, this one’s for you. Give it a try and if you have any problems (other than financial) please call into the shop and we will try to help you. Do please bring the card with you, as it is much easier to spot the error when the card is in front of me.

You will need the following:-

  • An A6 white card

  • A sheet of daisy stickers

  • A greeting sticker

  • A5 yellow copy paper for the inside

  • Some shimmer chalks or other colouring medium

  • Craft knife and cutting board

  1. Stick the long daisy border down the right hand side of the card.

  2. Next stick two of the single daisies, which are in squares, onto the card, one at the top left hand side, and the other about the middle of the card.

  3. With the craft knife and using the cutting board, carefully cut around the daisy inside the square leaving it still attached to the card. (If any of you find difficulty with the craft knife, it is possible to use tweezer scissors if you first make a small hole with a needle tool or small punch so that you can get the scissors into each area.)

  4. Colour the daisies with the glimmer chalks.

  5. Stick the greeting onto the lower part of the card as shown.

  6. When you fold and stick the yellow paper to fit inside the card, the colour will show through where you have cut around the daisies.
