Birthday Numbers

This card has been made, quite simply, with the use of Wendy Rhodes Wacky Fonts Stencil Set. It is quite an investment but the end result of the cards I have made so far has been more than worth it. I’ve had such fun with it and here is one of the simpler cards that I made for Beatrice, our granddaughter’s 10th Birthday.

Birthday Numbers

You will need the following:-

  • A4 pink gingham card

  • Pink Glitter Card

  • Shades of pink, lilac, blue & silver scraps of card

  • Large and small daisy punch

  • 1mm & 2mm double sided sticky pads

  • Silver peel off greetings, corners and letters.

  • Holographic pink peel off hearts and stars

  • Pink stardust pen

  1. Fold the pink gingham card to make an A5 card.

  2. Select the stencils you require and turn them over to trace around them on the back of the glitter card. If you don’t turn them over then you will have the numbers back to front.

  3. Attach them to the card with 2mm foam pads.

  4. Apply four corner stickers and I coloured in the flowers on the corners with the stardust pen..

  5. Punch out several flowers from the scraps of card with both punches and layer them up with 1mm foam pads. (I layered some with two larges ones offsetting the petals and some with a small one on top of a large one.) I put a little star in the middle of each flower.

  6. Decorate the numbers with the flowers using 1mm foam pads.

  7. Complete by adding the name of the recipient.

I’m sure any little girl would be delighted to receive this card and I hope Beatrice will be.
