3 Tag Card

Card Making is a very interesting and rewarding hobby, but beware, it is addictive! Here is a simple card to get you started. Everything you need is available from Hecho a Mano, where you can always find someone to help and give advice. We run workshops for all abilities but the main aim is to get started and enjoy yourself, so why not try and make this simple card to whet your appetite.

You will need the following:- navy DL Card (2/3rds of A4 Sheet folded) silver card size 8x19 cm approx blue speckled paper 6½ x 16½ cm approx white card (enough for three tags) pale and dark blue dye ink pads clear tag stamp set pink organza ribbon small glue dots 3-D foam pads corner rounder

1. Round the corners of the silver card and stick onto the front of the navy card.
2. Using the tulip stamp and the pale blue ink pad, stamp randomly onto the speckled paper to make a background paper and round the corners
3. Stick this onto the silver card
4. Using the tag outline and the white card, print three tag outlines, then inside them stamp the stitch line, and finally, “Happy Birthday” on one, “Thinking of you” on the second and the tulip on the last one.
5. Colour the tulip with coloured pencils.
6. Cut out the tags leaving a small border.
7. Make three small ribbon bows and attach with glue dots on the top of each tag.
8. Attach the tags, down the front of the card, with foam pads.
